Construction and Features

The cabin is completely designed and built with GFK-sandwich material. Due to the frameless design there are no cold bridges.

The cabin is mounted on one auxiliary frame (U profile) and 3 crossbeams (system seesaw=standard Unimog) flexible to the Unimog chassis (three point suspension). Therefore no distortion from the chassis to the cabin is possible.

The cabin is isolated with high value PE (Polyethylene) instead of PU (Polyurethane)

Hardwood layer in the floor at the fixing points for reinforcement

The outer skin is a double fiberglass material, 30% thicker than standard

Lockable sliding door between cab and cabin

5 Insulated sliding windows with integrated blinds

Exterior aluminum covers for all windows (lockable from inside)

Storage: large storage accessible and lockable from outside.

55 gallons drinking water tanks and two 5 gallon propane tanks

In March 1999 engine, transmission and axles were completely overhauled, Dual shocks where added to the rear axle

In August 2007 new front brake rotors, fuel injectors, water pump, radiator, fresh water tank and plumbing and accessory drive belts.

In October 2007 the Unimog recieved a frame-off restoration and a new paint job

In January 2008 the Unimog got 4 brand new Continental MPT 81 365/80 R20 tires
